Pro Teck Valuation Services announced this week that Dan Rizzotti has been promoted to director of quality improvement. He will report directly to Jeff Dickstein, the company's chief appraiser. Prior to his new position, Rizzotti was a senior account manager at Pro Teck. He is a certified appraiser with more than 15 years of real estate valuation experience across various sectors of the industry including origination, servicing, and capital markets.

LenderLive Settlement Services has expanded its title-related and portfolio management service offerings in response to new regulatory compliance requirements affecting lenders and servicers. In today's environment, LenderLive says it is even more imperative that servicers have all title and mortgage documentation in order. The company notes that there have been instances where foreclosures or other loan actions have been delayed because the title information could not be verified.

Veri-Tax, LLC, a provider of income and identity verification products for banks and mortgage lenders, successfully completed a SAS-70/SSAE-16 Type II audit. Veri-Tax calls the SAS-70/SSAE-16 audit the more rigorous Type II audit, which involves an assessment of its corporate-wide policies and procedures related to handling client data. Such an audit addresses how employees access borrower tax and identity orders as well as the security of Veri-Tax's financial billing systems, information technology, and disaster recovery plans.

McCurdy & Candler, LLC, an Atlanta-based law firm providing default services to lenders and servicers in Georgia and Tennessee, announced it has hired a director with financial services audit experience for the firm's new quality control and compliance department. Joe Bayonne has joined the firm as its new director of quality control and compliance.

CoreLogic Credco, a provider of merged credit reports, recently integrated its FinalCheck suite into the Ellie Mae Encompass360 mortgage management solution. FinalCheck is an automated Fannie Mae loan quality initiative (LQI) compliance suite that assists lenders in verifying credit, application, and fraud data. The company says the technology can help lenders uncover undisclosed debt prior to loan submission and mitigate repurchase risk to avoid loan buy-backs from the GSE.

Blueberry Systems, LLC, a provider of mortgage production solutions to the financial services industry, recently enhanced its proprietary Conductor technology, a component of the company's flagship loan production platform, RELAY. The firms says the update gives mortgage lenders greater control over their loan data, which lowers the risk of errors and costly loan repurchases from mortgage investors.

Safeguard Properties issued a notice Thursday announcing the appointments of four individuals to its executive and management teams. Michael Greenbaum has been named to the newly created position of VP, REO. Apryl Seide was appointed as the company's general counsel. Jennifer Anspach has been promoted to director of finance and accounting, and Russ Klein has been named director of quality control.

Cogent QC Systems released Version 3.0 of its CogentQC.NET platform, which includes ServicingQC.NET for quality control of servicing processes as well as ProductionQC.NET for quality control of loan originations. The new release includes enhanced functionality for audit findings feedback, enterprise level security features, and additional user controls.
